My family and I have been attending the same church for going on 15 years now and within the last few years, I've really been struggling spiritually. I sat down with my pastor and spoke with him about it, but afterwards I was left feeling like I could never go to him about anything ever again. He told me that he doesn't believe God calls people to other churches and that his church isn't the issue. It's all me. Since then, I've struggled with being at that church, especially since we've stopped nearly all of the extra stuff we used to do, i.e. big Easter celebration, Trunk or Treat, playground for the kids, etc. It's been almost 4 years since we built our new building and we literally fought Hell to get it built. Since then, we haven't celebrated the church anniversary, neither the start of the church or the opening of the new building. There's so much more that I could go on about. But I won't. What Pastor Mark said about God calling people to other churches is like breathe of fresh air to me. It's reassuring of what I believe to be true and helps me know that I'm not crazy for believing so.

Hey pastor Mark my four year old can use an impact to put a tire on a diesel truck! His dad puts the tire on and my son since he was three can use an impact to tighten the lug nuts and then he remembers to check to be sure they are each tight enough after.

Thank you Mark and Grace. I am at a pivotal point in my life and I am committing myself to re-discovering Jesus. I have just signed up for a men’s worship group at a church some family members attend and I am looking forward to our first meeting. I am very excited to share my gifts with a new group of Christians, And I know I will find my place on the team.
