Please teach us how to draw the straight lines from each marks like you did in this video and how to put the compass' needle precisely i.e. drawing the flower of life. I usually missed the marks slightly when connecting the two dots. Including when I tried to draw the flower of life, some of the circles were off from the marks. 😅 Really thankful for your kindness on sharing your remarkable knowledge in sacred geometries. Much love from Asia. 💜🙏

Excellent tutorial. Quick and to the point. I make custom jewelry and I’m working on a ring for a client that will have a checkerboard pattern of “cells” to be filled with black and white enamel. I’ve already made the ring (11mm wide) with the outer walls and a raised inner line down the center making two “tenches.” I made a rubber mold of that ring and now have a wax copy of it to work in further. I’m needing to divide the circumference evenly into square cells. This video will make it simple and precise. I’ll draw it out on paper and then mark my divisions in my wax model so I can inlay perfectly sections of wax wire. Thank you!

Hi! Your videos are great! Just one thing, why do all non-Indian, and now many Indians too, pronounce 'mandala' as 'man-daa-laa'? It is a Sanskrit word, which is actually pronounced as man(like one)-dal(like dull). The 'a' in the end, after 'l' is not for pronunciation.
@ZKorvin4 жыл бұрын
Interesting, thanks for enlightening me. I was not aware of that. It’s most likely the same reason why many Indians say ‘vife’ which is an English word and is actually pronounced as wife. To be honest I always thought there should be a word for mandala in English because what I draw is not always technically a mandala in the traditional sense but calling it a ‘repeating circular pattern’ is just not as catchy. ✌🏻
@specialeffectsgraphicsdesi90664 жыл бұрын
@@ZKorvin You're welcome. I agree. A mandala is always a circle, not any other shape is technically a mandala. But people bend rules as per their convenience, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. And authentic, traditional mandalas are very different from what we see people calling them so.
