What a small world this KZbin creation is. There I was looking for ideas for an outside pond & stream, video after video...not even looking at the names anymore... and this one pops up. I learned so much on other topics from you, MHPGardener, WebCajun, Navajopa31, and others. With all the losses over the last few years (including the later two), I am glad as hell to see you two still at it, educating folks around the world!

Before we built the pond and stream we rarely saw a frog around here. The minute we built it, frogs came out of nowhere. Pretty much at any given time you can spot about 10 of them lounging around on the rocks, on lily pads, in the waterfalls. Me and the frog whisperer get a kick out of watching them.

Thank you, we're so used to hearing the water that it's kind of depressing when we have the pumps shut off. Kind of like how a house seems lifeless with no electricity. We really do enjoy and use this part of the property. One of our favorite things to do is eat breakfast in the gazebo. Such a treat to be surrounded by the sound of water, birds chirping and flowers in bloom. Not to mention a good cup of coffee, LOL.

I too built my first little pond with similar materials right before these blew up all over the place and prices went crazy for materials and similar products. I am curious what pump you have pushing the water back up to the first waterfall and what size pipe you use to send it through as well of u had to buy extra fittings or glue to attach all of it. I have a simple pond and waterfall and looking to create a stream. I am definitely still a beginner. Thanks so much in advance and honestly you've got the best video I've watched for us "regular folks" with "budgets" who are trying to build a lil DIY stream! 😊
