Even on your video the left strap (your right) is hanging on by a thread. If you run with that chest strap on there's the potential of pushing the rubber rings outwards and apart causing your phone to be dropped. I suppose you could improve the design by attaching a locking mechanism between the rubber straps to guarantee they can't be pulled apart beyond a certain distance. Although if they are too close it's likely the weight of the phone will push itself out.
