I go to the goodwill or thrift stores to find old vintage necklaces. Some of them have pretty big chains so i take the necklace apart with pliers and use them for my chains!

This is also known as macrame :P Haha I make these all the time but with hemp twine. Just a little tip to make it easier to get started and so you have something steady to hold on to - instead of looping the second string through the first, fold them both in half, then string them through a carabiner or something, then clip it onto something sturdy so you can tug at it, and then do the square knots from there and you're good! Pencils and such also work to loop them on to :)
@shirona85112 жыл бұрын
i added chain pieces in between each knot. It looks really cool, especially with the rest of the chain :)

We just called them lanyards but according to wiki, they're actually called scoubidous which I've never heard of before .___. Rex-lace is also a term used for these and if I can remember correctly, I might have seen some stores selling them as rex-laces. Hope that helped!
