I redid my counters with this paint and after a year it started peeling. And I did this before we moved into our home so it had plenty of times me to cure ( which requires 14 days)

sharonda goode your supposed to put a layer of epoxy over it, that’s why it peeled.. you bought the cheap kit and the more expensive (180$) includes the full kit which has the epoxy

I was thinking that, too. But I think the difference is that this is just the paint kit, whereas the 179 kit has epoxy to go over the top and make it more durable.

My house is paid off and 250K value. Plus all the money I've already put in doing the roof and all the roof wood, remodeled restrooms, 10 windows, raising ceiling in kitchen, hallway and living room, tile, paint, etc etc. I don't mind saving some money and doing this to my countertops. Which I will do! not this specific kit but something similar just to try it out if it doesn't come out great it's not going to kill me atleast I tried and it's not gonna lose the function of a house lol 🤣 not like it's the roof I went expensive materials on roof and ceilings and wood etc. But countertops they're not gonna protect anything they're just more for show. I'm sure you'll be alright bud 🤣
