This is great. However, I have honed marble. It can still get etched. How do you polish honed without creating a shine?
@CleanWithConfidence3 жыл бұрын
No worries all “honed” means is the type of finish (matte finish) but they are still marble countertops. You will still clean them the same way. Dish Soap!! I wouldnt use the Shine Eez since it’s a matte finish and supposed to be dull🙂 Dish soap is awesome because it’s ph neutral which is very mild. Most every cleaner you will encounter off the shelf will be acidic or alkaline and you want to stay away from that stuff when it comes to marble.

Hello. Loved the video. I just bought my first house which has a marble kitchen bench. I imagine I made a rookie mistake and put my dishrack on the bench with nothing underneath. I have just lifted my dishrack to see a large stain the size of the dishrack from the water underneath. Any tips on how to get out the water stains? Or I am going to be out of many $$ 😢

For granite countertop can u use regular products like degreaser or rubbing alcohol? Or is it the same as marble, only water/soap and those specific products?
@CleanWithConfidence4 жыл бұрын
Same. Quartz, granite and marble are all cleaned same way.
@corro72763 жыл бұрын
You can use methylated spirit or acetone to clean stubborn stains, that is what we use in the factory process when fabricating your worktops, just be sure to wipe with warm water afterwards and clean up any residue
@patriciacuellar48927 ай бұрын
@@CleanWithConfidencethis is my question. I only use soap and water like you say but my mother in law swears we need to use alcohol. I’m concerned she’s going to damage my new countertops 😔 is rubbing alcohol going to damage them? Or can I seal them and that will protect from her using alcohol on it when I’m unaware 😅

Do you have a video on how to clean caked on grease on walls. I have arches in my walls above my kitchen. I tried cleaning it and it started taking off the paint 😭 also how to take off grease from kitchen cabinets.. I’ve tried everything 😖
@CleanWithConfidence4 жыл бұрын
I just all depends on the finish. When it comes to removing grease I always start with a liberal amount of Dawn dish soap and take the grease off in layers. If that doesn't work my next step normally is to use L.A.s Totally Awesome Cleaner or Krud Kutter.
@adomjw5254 жыл бұрын

Do you think weiman’s granite cleaner is safe? I have used that for years, but I think I’ll change my practices
@corro72763 жыл бұрын
We actually use methylated spirit in the fabrication process to clean worktops before installing, this cleans any stubborn marks and does not dull the polish, it also leaves the counters streak free as it evaporates after use. Apply it to a mutton cloth not directly to the stone as some, methylated spirits contain a small amount of dye and may stain of you allow it to dry
