Awesome set up... could you use the rear arch as a ski pylon?

I pull a 10' Zodiac, about 900 lbs of capacity. Snug it up behind the ski using the 2 side D-Rings connected in a V to the tow hook on the ski. Often bring 3 - 5 gallon gas cans for extended range. You are not raising the center of gravity this way plus your carrying capacity is huge. Pull the inflatable along side the ski for on water fueling plus if you unload at a remote location the inflatable can be used as a fishing platform. Adds a lot of possibilities for very little money. You did a beautiful job building your ski. Borrow a small inflatable and give towing a try, you might like it!

Simply said this is a Swiss Army knife of jet skis. 👍👏. I think if I was going down the road of this awesome jet ski I would add a small very small but usable flotation life raft type deal just to tow behind you while fishing just to add maybe larger coolers fish storage fuel storage.

Very nice work, it but too much for my needs but great ideas and build. I am still tweaking my build for use in my area (SW Gulf coast in Florida). Biggest disappointment or “con” for jet ski fishing is that it’s against the law to operate at night or to have lights mounted. Night fishing is usually way better than daytime in the bays and nearshore. It’s also cooler with no worries of sunburn…so keep that in mind if you live in Florida.

For off shore fishing which seat configuration do you prefer the cruiser or non cruiser, I'm short so length isn't an issue. My concern is that cruiser seating for more security while underway and regular seating is easier move back and forth when fishing, what do you recommend for off shore fishing in rough water for Mahi and tuna ? I have only fished on boats.

That is a sick machine, I was curious if that was a side scan transducer and if it is how does it perform being so close to the nozzle with all the air bubbles caused by the pump.

yeah my dad had a Bayliner 19 foot water ski boat type. Lake Eire was the main spot ...we used to take my cuz’s 16 foot speedboat on Lake Eire to Kelly’s island which was negligent thinking back..I was the age I was in the pic ...all the crazy Macedonian boys like sardines with cases of brew and letting me drive the damn thing 😜 like what the hell dad! I love renting jet skis tho . a blast.

Great set up and my family love your vid's down under here in Australia. As a former merchant mariner I noticed that your navigation lights do not conform to standards due to them being obstructed. Not sure what the US law says however in Oz your would get fined for having your nav lights obstructed by not allowing the correct degree of vision to be seen by other vessels. The Yamaha Waverunner looks totally awesome and you have done a fantastic job.
