Beautiful bag! I love it! One thing I would change is use some e6000 or Fabri-Tac on those final knots just to secure them. Maybe overkill but it would ease my mind. I hate it when my world comes undone. lol!

Love the bag! I'll have to try this one Also, a quick hack to sharpen your scissors in a pinch: cut through a few layers of aluminum foil. I usually get about a foot of foil and fol it until it's the length of my scissors, then I just cut all the way down the width of the foil.

Cute and simple. I used 1" wide, natural colored cotton webbing for the handle. I hand-stitched the ends together with a small overlap and covered the joined strap ends with the initial row of knots. I used fray check on the final knots at the bottom. I fray checked before trimming. Allowed it to dry, trimmed the ends close and fray checked them again.

@shivanidudyala7704 жыл бұрын
@@magowiee it's similar to a square knot. u know how you have to do the knot two times (once on the left, once on the right) for a square knot? basically, for a twisted rope just do the knot on one side continuously. it's the spiral knot in the video link below. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYeQc4msrLOYeKs

Awesome project. Unfortunately I’m not coordinated enough to keep up with the knots and pattern as crazy as that sounds. After the final tie-off of the sides and bottom of the bag, I think it would look neat and interesting to leave the extra cord tails hanging free like fringe or even trimming them shorter if they are to long. Or even going ahead after closing up the sides and bottom, make a few more (or a lot more) rows of knotting to make like a macrame “panel” of sorts including or excluding the added fringe effect. Or another idea; string on some wood beads (or other types) onto the fringe or panel with fringe. So many possibilities.
