Thank you sooo much for this video! I'm not making rudder pedals, but a jet nose wheel steering hand tiller for the jet aircraft in FS2020 based on the CRJ. I have already 3-D printed the tiller handle, but I was trying to figure out the electronics portion. I just need control around the Z-Axis for yaw. I will modify what I have learned here for my project.

When I try to download your "Bits and droids flight connector", it just gives a 404 link missing error. So whole video becomes worthless.

Thank you for a great video. Will your rudder work with XBOX? Thank you.

Having a 3d-printer would make my life so much easier :D that's a great idea! I'm so done with working with aluminium sheets.

It makes day-to-day life easier. The print time is longer than working with other materials (most of the time). But in the long run, I'm able to design something, start the print, go do something else, and come back to a "finished" project. It isn't a magic solution though some stuff can still better be made with other materials.

You will have another hobby call tune the printer though. This one not so easy😅

With the current version of your library I get this error message when trying to install from a zip file into the Arduino software: "Error 13: Library install failed: archive is not valid: multiple files found in zip file top level". Any ideas on what needs to be fixed?

Can I ask something. I noticed you said that left value is different to right value. Can this be down to the pot not being a linear pot and instead a logarithmic pot as they ramp up when turned fully clockwise. I noticed the same with the throttle you built. I want to do the same as noticed the slide pots you used were logarithmic so they ramp up as you get towards the end. Did you pick them for that reason?
@Bitsanddroids2 жыл бұрын
In this instance it came down to mounting. Due to the simple construction center just wasn't really centered. I never really put that many thought in the choice of sliding pots in my throttles. Your comment is the first time I thought of the difference of the pots installed. But you might be on to something. Will dive into this
