Did you use soda ash cause when I rise out my socks the color mostly came out,,,it turned back white

After putting the dye on socks I notice if im not mistaken correct me if i am but she put them in a bag & let them sit for 24hours or so & then rinse & was that all needed to be done?.... please advise help

I’m so upset, these didn’t turn out at all after I washed them all of the colour came out and we’re back to white again. All I can think of is they had polyester in them but they were the same as these & I used the tie dye kit

I did wash them all together, yes! I made sure to rinse them out quite thoroughly in the sink before the washing machine.

I bought my tie dye kit from Michaels! The dye comes in the bottle, and with replacement packs as well 😊
