What made these 2 videos really special for me was that you left in all the mistakes that happened (both software issues and your own misunderstanding of the features). The runaway, the mistake that you thought the flight cropped the water tower on the first run, etc. Most videos seem unrealistically sterile, where everything works perfectly, and the person knows everything about the software perfectly. But in reality, that is never the case. This video shows the reality of learning new software and I really appreciate you keeping it real like that.

as these are stills that pix4d used to make the mesh model .. how did you also get the VIDEO of the water tower that you played ? .. also is this able to be somehow embeded into the PIX4D low poly represntation ? .. as in is its possible to click on a point of the model and show a high resolution capture of that area.. thank you for detailed info and advice on how to use the pix4d app with mavics..

Ahhh this video answers my quesiton from the the first part of this video about the live feed :-) They need to allow you to make multiple passes on the circular mission so it can do the same mission but from different heights so you can get a clearer model.

It would be nce if that wa sin the settings and automatic, like a torpedo searching a circular pattern, one orbit, drop down, next orbit etc... with auto camera realignment... maybe its been fixed in the last 3 years...??

Thanks for the great vid. If you wanted to improve this 3D model would you add manual oblique captures as well? 30-60 degree gimbal pitch with no horizon for specs… or is pix 4d just not the highest quality 3D modeling software? Currently using a Mavic 2 pro. Thank you

important note about the app pix4dcapture : its canceled the obbsticles sensors of the mavic 2 pro !!!!

Shannon Walsh they can, the cloud or desktop software does not care about the image source you can just upload them manually.

Hello dear pix4d don't export the pictures after complete the mission how can i export the data

Are you flying with an SD card into the drone or with your phone? If with an SD card, you'd see the pictures stored in it. With a phone, you'd need to check the root path of the internal storage and copy the images from there.

Need to be in camera mode in case of fly away. That way you will know if its off course instantly.

Make sense, but I think it's not ok that this can happen. They should fix the software, it should not just take off like a bat out of hell.
