How to do a 2 stroke leakdown test?

I did not know this trick either. But it's helpfull to find air leaks, I will be using it more in the future I think.

There seems to be an hairline crack in the right carter at 3:51; nothing coming out of that?

Where exactly? I seem to miss it. The 'seperate' cover on the right houses the oil pump, so if that has a crack that's not that big of a deal.

@@VintageGarageYT if you click on the 3:51 chipher you will start the video at the right spot; I think one, in a video about leak down test, could expect to be pointed out, as the airline crack non being the culprit in any way.

I do not mean to be "noty" but I seem that, if the compressed air, gases and sonic waves, had a chanceto be kept within, with that crack they were no hopers ;--)

@@robertomalatesta6604 No worries. I like people commenting, I'm no professional so I learn everyday. If you mean in between the A and M off Yamaha, that's meant to be there because the clutch cover is made of 2 pieces. I can't post photos here. Let me google a link real quick
