How To Do A Backhandspring (and Keep Your Wrist)

This video was created for anyone who needs help landing their backhandspring. If your head hits the ground and/or you land in a push up position, then I believe this video will show you how. I would HIGHLY recommend that you take a slow motion video of your athlete. If you see there head is going before the arms/shoulders, then you now know the issue.

How do you open your shoulders??

Work on your shoulder flexibility. Open shoulders means your arms are behind your ears.

@@TumbleDoctor do you have anything else to help me with bending my arms i can do back handsprings perfectly on everything but the floor but for years I have had the problem with bending my arms
