Thanks! This helped a lot! I'm a cheerleader and I've been doing parkour to, I used to have my backhand spring but I got a mental block, just seeing you talk about what to do has helped me ease back into throwing it!
@Brownstone20048 жыл бұрын
Very informative thank you. I always had a problem w/ the back handspring. Only performed it once and that was because I was under pressure. Going forward though, I was pretty good at. Front handsprings and flips. I'm 46 now, don't think I'll be learning this at this point even though I still do my best to keep in shape.
@m33kzking8 жыл бұрын
+TappBrothers Funny thing is I am more comfortable doing a back tuck more than a Back handspring, mostly because it's all mental for me at this point. To break/ or soften this wall of fear, I usually practice the macaco on both sides, a back walk over on both sides and backward rolls into handstands, Those movements to me have similar motion to me, especially with the snap down.

Thank you so much! I have been trying to get my back handspring for ages and have just been too scared to commit jumping backwards. I learnt a backhandspring on the trampoline but I have been way too scared to try it on grass. After watching about a million different tutorials I still couldn't do it. Luckily a stumbled across this video and tried the backwards cartwheel. After a few attempts, I did the backhandspring and found that going backwards wasn't as scary as I originally thought. I will continue to use this tutorial to help improve my backhandspring. Thank you again. 😀

@TappBrothers8 жыл бұрын
+Shadow Walker Yes, we'll definitely be sharing some videos for this in the near future!
@levihalperin76498 жыл бұрын
You can't "burn your belly fat" all you can do is reduce your calorie intake and try to exercise as much as possible. You can't specifically target your belly fat and it will probably be the last area that loses fat. You just gotta be patient.
@shadowwalker30138 жыл бұрын
+Levi Halperin I drink protein shakes and eat six small meals a day and do full body workouts M,W,F,S,Sat for the past 6 mouths. So please tell me what I'm doing wrong
@levihalperin76498 жыл бұрын
the only way to lose weight is to be in a calorie deficit. Meaning than you need to burn more calories than you eat. So even if you are eating a healthy diet you wont lose weight as long as you eat more calories as you lose. The best thing to do is figure out how much calorie you burn in a day and reduce the calories you consume to be about 100-200 calories than you burn. Just make sure you eat plenty of nutrient rich foods so that your body has what it need to maintain itself (other than sufficient energy, for which it wiil need to burn fat). If you do that you will be able to slowly lose weight while maintaining your strength and muscle and after a few months you will see notable differences . The main thing is to be patient. Dont get to caught up with trying to rush to lose as much weight as possible, take it slow and enjoy life while maintaining a good diet and workout routine and the fat will slowly go away.
@shadowwalker30138 жыл бұрын
+Levi Halperin Thanks I will start calculating my calorie intake, but just saying 6 months is more then plenty of time. Nevertheless I never thought about calorie intake thanks again for the great advice

Forward rolls, forward handsprings, cartwheels (not a problem) and handstands were fine. They asked me to find 9 other people and they would start us in a class. I could only find 2. If we had've had access to your coaching back then, well, we could've become coaches ourselves. And you make it fun. Whatever it is your charging, it's worth it! Have a great weekend guys!
