@jonnarobinson75413 жыл бұрын
I’ve been a dance teacher for many years. Flexibility is important but what is the top priority should be strengthening of the legs. Your legs and core are not strong enough to pull up.
@irisdevine3 жыл бұрын
exact same with me!! flexibility isn't an issue for me but i can't get my legs up for the life of me hahaha x
@tatemitchell14793 жыл бұрын
Try ankle weights/tie something heavy around your ankles (a purse filled with heavy coins or something may work!) and sit on a chair. Put your hands under your butt for balance, and lift your leg as high as you can, trying to get your hamstrings off the seat. Do around 30 reps on each leg, 2x daily. You should develop serious strength in your quads! Leg raises can serve as a simplified version of this, but being seated vertically means you get a higher "kick". I hope this helps!
