Are these new congas or new skins. I was just watching a previous video and thinking how you have selected the perfect skin thickness, and now I see new skins in this video. I love the tone of your's. All your drums sound great. I re-skinned numerous congas when I was in the UK for use in my Afro-Cuban band. When I had the skins soaked and was working with them the dogs would go crazy - of course they got some off-cuts. Moving overt here to Panama, I knew that I was going to be playing less and so I sold all my re-skinned drums and just brought my salsa trio (with thinner heads) and a quinto. Thanks for all these videos, I love them.
