What benefits does the university offer to postdocs? For example, do they provide allowances for children's schooling and housing?

Thank you for your comment. The problem could be that there are few universities and many students send emails to the professors who are too busy to reply. I suggest you apply directly to any open positions you see in the university web page or in google search for postdoc positions in the use. To the best of my knowledge all the work is done in English unless you are in the Arabic or Islamic studies departments. In science, technology and business English in the language to go for. But in social science and humanities you may need Arabic for example if you want to study society and culture of west Asia.

Generally the UAE grant will fund your fellowship. There are some SERB fellowships but these were for USA. UAE has much funding and it may be easier to get funds from there. Good evening sir! Thank you for making this video. I am highly motivated by your videos. Last month I found about a post doc position in a multidiciplinary neuroscience /psychology lab at NYU Abu Dhabi. On doing research I felt that: a) research environment is top notch b) climate is quite good, especially for a person like me who will be looking forward to take my 79 year old parent along with me and c) Its a very safe place I believe.
