I have been a hairstylist for 40 years and I still in love with my profession. I have watched lots of different stylist you are by far the most humble, enthusiastic, caring, patience which we need lots of. And great teacher. I love love watching. Your tutorials I just started doing bayalage. Imagine. And I learned it all from you. Thank you. So much 💚💜❤️🌼🌸🌺✂️✂️✂️✂️

Wow! You weren’t kidding, for a quick touch up that looks like a full day at the salon. Fav part, the care taken in the front baby lites, and extra attention to protect all phases from cross processing. Yay! Thanks.

I love these videos about offering clients maintenance options. So relevant and not just to new colorists. Schools don't teach this stuff probably because of lack of time and so many different levels of understanding in the students plus changes in trends. I hope you are getting your deserved income with your KZbin channel. Awesome teaching!!!

@memeblock56652 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I learned to do baby highlights and shadow root from this as well as learn about blending to make the ombre/melt! I ended up trying this on my own hair because I can’t afford a salon and it turned out great! I ended up with more of a melt in back and more of a shadow up front because I just couldn’t section the back of my head well and tap it on while holding a mirror. I also ended up with some splotches when I removed the highlight foil but it’d probably only really noticeable to me! One thing I do want to mention is that the highlights near the ear look good with the hair up except I usually wear my hair in a side swoop when I put it up so it would have been good to know I should have shadowed the roots lower in the front maybe (but I do prefer light pieces around the face!) You are definitely a pro and after seeing so many bad hair jobs posted on reddit I feel even better with the one I gave myself from this video. I definitely do Not have the lowlights all the way down and it didn’t turn out exactly the same (and took my 4+ hours just to figure out the foils, which I did before mixing!) but it I am happy with the result considering I could have paid a salon $200+ to do worse. I would not recommend trying this routine at home (it was HARD…like removing an ill-fitted car battery) so to everyone else: seek her out if she is close to where you live!

This is such a helpful video! I would LOVE to hear more tips about how to stay clean while doing color, I always manage to get color everywhere! Another helpful video idea might be how to know what formulas and toners to use on your clients to get them to the color they're asking for! This is what I struggle with the most, I never know what level I need to go with so it just feels like a guessing game. (obviously my cosmo school experience was about the same as yours lol) Thank you for all the awesome videos!
