We leave the outer sin until the messy concrete etc is done- then we build up the outer in one go and it keeps it clean! (practised on a lot of sites)

Chris, really unhappy about all that weight of concrete sitting on essentially plastic foam. Is it not better to lay the foam insulation on the concrete?

Overkill! Use a laser for putting the concrete in, Much quicker and easier. Before you mention the price of them they are quite cheep nowadays.

Great vid, but I’d hate to work for you, it’s a bit belts and braces. 2 stages of whacking the hardcore, 2 layers of damp proof membrane, getting a level out to make sure the concrete is level are all way over the top 🤔
