classic youtube warriors thinking these dudes skip leg day.. Sal pulls over 500 deadlift, 300+ squat, same with Adam, Justin has the most beautiful squat of anyone you've seen. Adam was an IFBB pro at one point. Also some of the most intelligent minds in fitness. But yeah, they skip leg day cause you can rep 225 lolol

Love the turkish get up. For me the hardest part is still coming back down, flexing the elbow and laying my back on the ground the safest way possible. I can see perfect 90 angle here and arm perpendicular to the floor. Will focus on this next day.

I remember seeing wrestlers do this back in the gym when I was a kid. The real seasoned and strong ones were using their training partners which I watched in awe but didn't quite understand at the time how amazing they were. As kids we were using monkey bars as a part of the training for building very strong upper body. You hang down with your arms facing your opponent as he does face you, then you move towards the opponents swinging from bar to bar till you come close enough to pull down your opponent by either using your legs to wrap around his legs or torso and pull him down so he drops. No kicking or any other strikes. Hard but fun game which also builds strong grip, shoulders, core strength, shoulders, back, etc.

Personally I find it helpful to have the student hold a light weight, say a 5 lb dumbbell or their water bottle. You can tell them to keep the shoulder and elbow engaged and not to swing the weight hand around, but with a little resistance they can feel why that's important.
