How to do acrylic nails | Beginner tutorial

I've been watching your videos and I have to say great job so far. I went to cosmetology school, so I'm not saying this to be mean. But when you pointed out where your Apex is you pointed right at your cuticle and I saw the big bump right in front of your cuticle. You're Apex is way too far back. For the length of nails that you did your Apex should be closer to your natural free edge. That's called the stress point. So you should be moving your bump / hump higher up on the nail right around where your real nail ends at the edge. Your bump is just way too close to the cuticle. If you move it up a little more you should have much better success in supporting the length that you are currently doing.
