How to do ArtFight Mass Attacks & Revenge Chains!

Omg I just watched through this and this would've been so useful yesterday omg I- I did a mass attack and drew 7 characters and only got 49 points because I set it as friendly fire- I didn't know there was a difference omg I'm so upset apfyyfoayovavhoa (/lighthearted) - This was extremely useful though so thank you :D I'll keep this in mind so I don't make the same mistake again xD

I was wondering how you start a revenge chain if you're the first to attack the person, and can you do revenge on people of the same team?

Yes you can revenge friendly fire attacks 😊 and if you are the first to attack, it’s up to the other person to respond with a revenge art to make it an attack chain. If they draw you back but don’t know or forget to mark it as a revenge - you can revenge that attack and start the revenge chain when you submit your 2nd art. I hope that makes sense

Hey I just wanted to ask a question, are you able to do a mass attack of say 3 different people? Or does it only allow you to select one username? (considering attacking a bunch of characters in one big canvas)

You can do up to100 different people but there will only be one main person - like a team captain sort of - but all the characters you tag will still be notified, even if they belong to different people. For example The frogs in this video all belong to different people ☺️

This is really helpful but for me, I'm drawing the same character in 2 different drawings (different outfits). Will that count as two characters?

You can enter the same character ID multiple times on the same attack if you drew them multiple times in that attack and it will count each toward your point total 😄

Thank you! ☺️ Go to the drop down menu in the top right corner, select characters, and on that screen edit the sort order by numbering them in the order you want them to appear (or click and drag them). Make sure to submit changes at the bottom of the screen or it won’t save your new character order when you leave that page. 💕

Hello! I was wondering if you could help me out with something :O Basically I want to revenge someone who included my character in a mass attack, when I tried to find a revengable attack nothing popped up? :( I’m very confused and not sure why it won’t show their attack against me- I’m new to artfight, are you not allowed to revenge mass attack pieces?

Hello :) ty for the question, the reason it's not showing up as a revengeable attack is because you're character wasn't the main target in their mass attack. You can still submit your revenge and mention its a revenge for that mass attack in the comments, but it wont link it. Your drawing will become the first link in a new revenge chain if they choose to respond. Unfortunately only the main target of the mass attack would be able to start a revenge chain with the original attacker. Probably not the answer you hoped for but I still hope it helps!

God, thank you!! This is my first year and I’ve been trying to figure out whether revenge chains can only be done with the same characters or any character the revengee in question has. This clears that up!

Copy their hyperlinked name and paste it into your comment. If it pastes bold and in color it will ping them.
