I looked up Balinese Hinduism and the supreme God in their religious tradition is called Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa (Balinese: "The Divine Order") and Sang Hyang Tunggal ("The Divine Oneness"). It is similar to Brahman in Hinduism.

I can explain bits and pieces, because I learnt about puja from volunteering at ISKCON, reading their texts. In the Krishna and Vishnu sects of Hinduism when offerings are made to the supreme God (Krishna, Vishnu), the devotee offers the favourite items of the deity. Krishna loves butter, puri, yogurt, tulsi leaves (holy basil); Shiva likes holy ash (vibhuti), sandalwood. Flowers particular to each God are also offered for the particular God. Once it has been offered the food then becomes prasad or mercy, which means it is purified. It is not tasted before eating. Placing flowers at the feet of God is also a type ritual, I've seen it done but I'm not sure what it is. Every act and item has a symbolic meaning. Tulsi Leaf is the Goddess Tulsi, all the dairy comes from the Mother Cow, Krishna is the cowherder, the five dairy products: ghee; yogurt; milk; butter; and another I forgot are called panchamrita which means five nectars. The hand motions when the devotee makes the offering with the incense and flowers is the recitation of sanskrit mantras. This is in the context of Hindu and ISKCON style puja. Usually temple puja are strictly done by Brahmins in Orthodox hinduism. In ISKCON you can be initiated and become a Brahmin regardless of your birth. In Balinese I don't think they have this distinction between the varnas (also mistranslated as caste, but still used by a lot of Hindus in India to refer to varna) In the puja for Balinese Hinduism, I'm unable to give more details or explain the video in more depth as there are some similarities but a lot of differences as well. For example, I have never seen bamboo flowers or kaffir lime leaves offered to God in Hinduism, or ISKCON (usually they consider themselves separate from Hinduism, some of them are ecumenical, it's complicated.)

Each color symbolizes the cardinal direction, yellow for the West, white for the East, red for the South, and dark for the North, the pandan leaves in the middle symbolize Madya, as we Hindus know about the ruler of the cardinal directions so it seems there is no need to explain.
