It is odd to pump hydraulic fluid up. Saw another video which run opposite from this maintenance by withdrawing fluid out from the existing tube then replace new fluid back from top container. I think this should be the better way of replacing new hydraulic fluid maintenance procedure. i.e. remove old fluid out from top to bottom followed by refilling new fluid again from top down.

Hi James, our consideration is that air bubble moves upward naturally so if we pump fluid from bottom up, it will be easier to push any air bubble inside the hose upward. Nonetheless, we always believe there is no hard and fast rule about it, as long as it works 😀 👍🏼 Thank you for sharing!

I was thinking the same, the bubbles naturally float to the highest point with some gentle persuasion. This demonstrated process would also use excess oil.
