Used to like to contour more, but now I use only GoPros. Contour's viewing angle is 170 degrees which is too wide for a headcam on the side of your head. It will pick up your eye socket and nose, which nobody cares to see. If you build a mount that sticks further off your head, there is too much jitter. I use a GoPro Hero 3 black for a headcam now.

You know, I've been pre-fishing for this years tournament up here in Daytona and it's been rough. We've been having some of the most beautiful days on the beach i've seen in awhile with the water crystal clear, surf barely 3 foot swells, and all the friggin manta rays jumping everywhere. Yet with the good fishing conditions, granted the tide hasn't been great, I would expect to have hooked up to a few of them. Have you been catching any further south recently or are the sharks just not here yet?
