Josh, great video! Reminds me of certain areas around Pompano Beach, Jupiter, and Hillsborough Inlet. I bet the tarpon and barracuda moved offshore, if the surf has been that rough.

I use 80 lb spider braid and never have a problem shark fishing on the beach! catch 6 to 7 foot bull sharks all the time on the beach! and I make my own leaders from 500lb wire. and I use a potato gun to launch my bait out a good 100 yards. or I use a balloon and life saver

Josh... last time you've went to The inlet was the day after I had just gone!! It was way to windy and the current was too strong when I went but not the day after. I was so mad when I found out you just went there and I didn't see you!! After Christmas you should do a fan meet up there so we could all meet you. It would be a pleasure!

Do you ever eat the Bluefish? I have found them oily, but perhaps you have a great recipe that reduces that oily taste. I catch Pompano in the surf, and love to eat them. By the way, I can't ever remember you guys catching, keeping, and cooking any fish. I would love to see a fish cooking segment, for fish like Redfish, Pompano, Mackerel, Snook, Dolphin, Cobia, Wahoo, and even Bluefish as I mentioned.

Riverrat 243 I am no blacktiph but I use a Penn international but I use my kayak and paddle the bait out and for sharks like that 100+pound line I use 200 pond line I have caught nothing big but a 3 to 6 foot shark is fine by me. That is only because I haven’t caught a bigger shark then that 😂😂😂. And forgot to say I would use Metal wire for the liter.

Do people not know you can flip the handle over on a spin cast reel? Simply loosen the nut on which ever side it is currently on, slide handle assembly out, put on opposite side, reinstall nut.

No. You just hold it upside down.

Yeah, 2x guys with their level of experience & their own fishing shows should have thought to simply switch the crank handle on the fly which would've taken less than 15x-20x seconds & the problem would've been solved...oh well.
