Checklist for Your At-Home Gel X Nails Tutorial 1. Buffers - Used to gently remove the natural shine from your nails, ensuring the gel adheres properly. 2. Nail Files - Essential for shaping your natural nails and perfecting the edges of the gel extension tips. 3. Nail Dehydrator - Applied to remove any oils from your natural nails, promoting better adhesion and preventing lifting. 4. Nail Primer - Prepares the nail surface for the gel glue, increasing adhesion and longevity of the extensions. 5. Cuticle Pushers - Used to push back the cuticles and create a clean nail bed for better tip application. 6. Cuticle Remover - Helps soften and remove any excess dead skin around the nail bed for a clean, professional look. 7. Alcohol Prep Pads - Used to clean and dehydrate the nails before applying any products, removing dust and residue. 8. Gel Extension Tips (etched) - Pre-etched tips ensure better bonding with the gel glue and your natural nail. 9. Nail Lamp - Required for curing (hardening) the gel glue and gel products quickly. 10. Hiii! Sorry for the second comment haha but I am concerned about getting a greenie. I get very paranoid so it might be just me😂 but I am doing my nails for my sleepover birthday party and I am swimming. So I am nervous I will get a greenie. Do you have any tips for not getting one? Hi my love!! Thanks for the comment. I wouldn’t worry too much once you follow all the prep and application steps carefully. Just make sure there is no lifting at all because when moisture gets trapped that’s when a greenie forms. Keep your nails underneath clean and dry, use your dehydrator and primer, used etched tips, and you should be good! Have fun swimming💞

I’ve recently gotten all my supplies but I have been so paranoid about gel allergies it’s just making me wan to die instead of having a good time 🥲

@@m4jima Aww no don’t be scared, when you apply the gel just be very careful to not get it on your skin and if you do, wipe it off with an alcohol pad before curing. Make sure when you file your nails to wear a mask and have good ventilation in the room. And always make sure to cure the gel fully. Once you do that, you can definitely minimize your risk of an allergy 💞

If you're concerned, put a thin layer of Vaseline (*or liquid latex) on the skin around your nails so if you do miss, it goes on the Vaseline and not directly on your skin
