I just recently found your channel and this video specifially helped me profoundly. The simple mindset of "keep your feet on the pegs" helped me out just yesterday. I used your exact advice, kept my feet on my pegs and managed to climb up a hill i couldn't manage last year. Simple tricks that you may not realize, you aren't doing until someone tells you. I appreciate the tips and look forward to your future videos.

Trials techniques with the low body position driving through the pegs and controlling power with the clutch rather than the throttle. Clutch reacts quicker than the throttle, almost like a switch.

I guess I have watched a dozen videos where someone says "weight the pegs", but this video for some reason helped that idea click in my head. I've watched a bunch of your videos, but you just earned a sub.

Great examples in your tutorials vids. I take a lot from them and use in my terrain . a tip from my terrain - muddy , slick short but really steep right from the bottom uphils - to gain extra traction at the base right before atacking the uphill release the clutch and stored energy and seat bump your ass in the initial hit to avoid strugle with standing up and forces that want to melt you with the bike hahah, as soon as the suspension rebounds after the first hit use it to stand up. Just dont forget to grip the bike with your kneez or you can do a superman really quick

Does this apply to 4 strokes as well? I seem to do better working the throttle instead of fanning the clutch. Also I like a higher gear on very steep hills to reduce the possibility of flipping the bike. Just a technique I developed over the years.

So, M5B EVO for the rear. Does IRC make a good front too? I tried the IRC M1A front about three years ago. Did not like it. It was too skinny for me and the knobs had a unique triangular shape. Went to GoldenTyre Fatty. Worked much better. Bike is Husky TE300. Rider weight 230 (6-5 ht). Amateur, but love the So Cal enduro hills.

@@IRCTireUSAMoto Amazon has it. Looks like the seller is IRC direct. That's cool. Motosport carries very little IRC period. RockyMtn does not have this tire. ChapMoto does not have the 90/100-21 size. I'm good with Amazon. But, it makes me nervous buying a tire that's not popular. I figure there must be a reason. But you're a cool dude, so it's worth a try. I'll buy your snake oil. I love the M5B, so we've got that going for us. Dirt bike tires is a crowded space! That's for sure! I like trying different tires. Some of my friends are the opposite. They'll buy AT81's 30 times in a row. No exaggeration.
@timkuitems44314 жыл бұрын
Rich, what M5B do you run? I think the last one I used was the 140/18-18. That was on a Yamaha wr450f. This time the bike is a Husky TE300. I don't recall there being a 120, a 130 AND a 140 to pick from. The objective is not to race but to get up the sandy loose rock technical hill climbs. 230 lb dude.
