I LOVE that you REALLY broke down how you did your hair. As a Black women that grew up in predominantly white community I have NO clue how to do anything. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve searched wigs for beginners start to finish and NO ONE really breaks it down. Like girl, gimme the tea as if I just grew hair for the first time. PLEEASSUH 😩

That’s the same mantra I have when I braid my hair haha I focus on the front part, the rest it could go however the hair would like to go hahaha I learned that the very first time I braid my own hair. I remember that I went to work and everyone were like “omg you are so good at braiding your hair” and the back part I was pretty sure it wasn’t that good.

Yeah you really have to, I just did my faux locs by myself and it came out bomb. Bought the hair for $36 on Amazon and it took me 2 days to do it. I started late and took a lot of breaks if not I would have done it in a day. I recommend getting a 3 way mirror, it makes parting the back of head much easier hope that helps 😊. Braids and locs is almost $600 where I live and I refuse 😂. Next hair style I want to learn is knotless braids.

In between twists is the time your real hair needs pampering and love with hot oil treatment, deep conditioning and clipping any damaged ends because this is a beautiful protective style so your hair should be healthier!

Last style I did on my hair as far as braids were passion twists and it was my first time doing them , I did the rubber band method too. Chile , it took me sooooo long OMG I did not expect that lol like 10hrs I think 😭😭😭😭, mainly because I added too much curly hair it was too much hair on my head so I had to go back in and take some out lol but it came out so nice . I did lighten and color my hair tho before
