This is exactlyyy how I do my hair. I just do my edges and if it’s not a half wig I’ll quickly glue the part into my own and put some powder. Half wigs are my go to but when I want a part I just cut off all the lace and line up the part with my own.

A wig cap will keep your hair flat and together really well too. Also a wig grip helps too. But anyway I just love the ending results and that you colored the edges black. I do that too because trying to put makeup on it doesn’t work well, very difficult to blend to your face and if it moves or shift at all it’ll look crazy. So yeah, Nice tip! 👍
