I notice women who have "evenness" of all of their hair all around have it "looking" long. I don't have it like that so only certain "sections" are up to how their hair is. Its good to keep it in mind.

Just found out the reason why my scalp has been so dry and itchy since I moved is because of hard water. Just bought a shampoo for that and is starting to incorporate the braid scalp spray instead of just oil. Just use the shampoo for the first time tonight and it feels like my scalp has been reset.

I’m on a hair growth journey. I’ve currently doing 6 month growth challenge. I started with a 3 month protective style (washing my hair on a regular). I took out my protective style in November. There was so much growth/length retention. I was so excited. I’m now in my second 3 month protective style cycle. I’m soooo ready to take my hair down because I want to see the growth. I still have 4 weeks to go in this cycle. I don’t want to take my hair down too soon because I can’t keep my hands out of my hair. When wearing my natural I want to try every style I can think of, especially when I see growth. That’s not good for my hair. I have 10-11 inches of hair (based on my November measurements) and my goal is to get to 14-16 inches before my wedding in July. Discipline is key. Thanks for the video. I may do twist from March-June.

@@AshleyMasse trust me do research about hydrogenated what protein.... this item actually heals split ends. The beauty industry is not promoting that. But if you can prvent splits your hair will grow long. I spent an afternoon going down the rabit hole on this one hair additive.

I'm on a waist length journey as well, 4a and 4b curls here. I've started 4 years ago and when straight, it's mid back, curly, it lays abundantly on my shoulders. I want it to be curly and chilling in my hip bones so that'll probably be another 6 years (giving myself more time bc I'd rather be pleasantly surprised). I stay on twists and braids, I'm trying to transition into more wash n go's and I've switched most of my wardrobe so that I wear silk or satin, so my hair doesn't break off from friction with the cotton. Satin scrunchies and bonnets are a must and I do eat healthy, work out and drink water. I love seeing other ladies in this journey ❤ hope you continue documenting the journey!!!

I am a young black teenager, my mom used to take care of my hair and it used to be super long (when curly it would go down to my chest, when straight it would go down to my butt) but then i obviously got older and I had to learn how to do my own hair. I didn’t know how to at first so I used to just straighten it alllllll the time…it then got super damaged to the point where it would smell burnt for MONTHS. (6-8 months bro..) I then learned how to (kinda) do my hair, but it doesn’t grow like how it used to when my mom styled it. I don’t like getting long braids (although I’m surrounded with girls who have long braids) which sometimes makes me feel bad for making such short hair, I’ve been doing a few things to make my hair grow longer and it has worked. Hopefully this speeds up the process lol new sub💗

I’m 15 years old and i always used to to complain about my hair. My mom is white and she doesn’t know anything about type 4 hair but I’m always thankful she tries her best. I relaxed my hair in July and it came out more as a permanent blow out and not straight. I decided to cut off all the relaxed parts about a month and a half ago and now I have about 6 inches of hair, now I’m trying to learn how to properly take care of my hair. It’s almost always in box braids so I don’t really know how to care for it while it’s in box braids but I’m trying to learn for my and my hairs sake. My 2024 hair goal is for thick natural shoulder length hair. 🙏 (Any advice would be awesome)

I started my hair growth journey in march. I decided to braid my hair back in cornrows and keep it in without bothering my hair for months at a time. I keep my braids in for 2 to 4 months. I always keep my hair in a bonnet or wrapped up in a scarf unbothered. From time to time I add hair growth oil. It’s almost a year later and my hair has been flourishing. It’s been so long since I’ve seen my hair this long.

And my hair in the back seemed shorter. But it has since grown back. Yes!! You are so right!!! How hair does grow with less manipulation. I have been using rosemary water for awhile now and I have seen lots of growth. Rosemary makes the hair thicker and grows the hair. I use it on my wash day and during the week. It’s a game changer. I also put my hair in twist for a week. Thank you for sharing!! Sending everyone love, light and good deeds.❤️❤️🙏🙏☮️☮️

I feel you on the shampooing process girl. Especially bc i try to keep my mini twists in as long as i can. So i dont really wash my hair for like 3 weeks(sometimes more) and i gotta really work my scalp to get all that dandruff out

Great video! How many twists did you install? How often do you spray the rosemary water in your hair and scalp? How often do you grease your scalp?
@AshleyMasse
@AshleyMasse 11 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! The rosemary is safe to spray everyday. I usually spray every other 2-3 days (only because I’m a lazy naturalist and I forget a lot of things😭). I grease my scalp once a week the minimum. I don’t want my hair to be too greasy if I’m planning on wearing the style for more than 2 weeks!🫶🏾

Contracting your abdominal muscles as if you are holding your stomach to strengthen those muscles that wrap around your abdominal and back regions. This will also lessen back pain plus stretching the back helps, too.

Hair goals this year are to not crack or the dye I bought and to retain length and moisture. To get to the point where I'm comfortable wearing my shirt hair out again I MUST not cut it all off in frustration.

Greetings from the UK. Your hair is gorgeous. You deserve a medal for how you've treated and grown your hair so far. I am on a hair growth journey. I decided to go back to natural, and get my relaxed hair chopped off in July 2020. From then until now my hair still looks like I have a teeny weeny afro. It was only until I visited my stylist who blow dried my hair before trimming it for the first time in ages, did I realise how much my hair had grown. I have 4c hair which shrinks a lot especially after washing. I love the idea of using rosemary water. I still haven't found the ultimate products to stick with, I'm still chopping and changing. Does rubbing the blue magic onto your scalp helps with hair growth? I've heard so many people say not to do that, I'm confused. I would soooo love to purchase the Revair Reverse Air Dryer but so far it isn't available to the UK, it's only available to the US and Canada. I love the sheen shown in your hair. You're doing a terrific job. Keep it up. ❤
