Worth to mention is to get 5 CP and 70-80 energy then press vanish into cold blood + envenom to utilize master of subtlety. Also right before i press LW helmet and trying to fit in thistle tea after the vanish at low energy to maximize dmg output in those 6 seconds of 10% increased dmg :)

Yep, this is a good one. Something else I've noticed: if your Envenom misses/is dodged/etc, it won't do any damage but it will still give you the 5s increase to poison proc chance buff, so you may want to try to wait until that is near expiring before hitting Envenom again - unless waiting would mean capping your energy

4:52 worth mentioning that the new item Weapon Cleaning Cloth from friendly with the Emerald Wardens faction can remove temporary item enchants. I keep a few on me in case someone accidentally applies the wrong thing in raid or I swap from solo content to group content. I would infinitely rather lose a single inventory slot than be missing WF for 30m

1. U didnt tell that envenom's damage depends on deadly poison's stacks, not combo points. If u use coldblood at 1st envenom, and target dont have 5 deadly poisons, it will be wasted. 2. Best opener for cut to the chase build is stealth->shadowstep on 0.5s pull timer->mutilate. Better than run to the boss and lose some buff time. Anyway, nice job, very good guide

For Carnage rotation, Garote+5combo envenom+snd > garote+5 combo snd+envenom ? i think with carnage and HoT it is so ez to over cap combo points for 5 snd and we lose master sub buff if we snd.

putting 1 point into hit rating and only 1 point into seal fate sims higher. Also you should always put points into improved gouge if you are going down the combat tree.

Best part about honor among thieves + cut to the chase is if my energy is around 20-50 and I have 3-4 points I’ll just let my energy build and the points build then once it’s 4-5 I’ll envenom with 80-100 energy (don’t waste any) and get 2 mutilates off with the envenom poison buff. The carnage one feels clunky and I think focused attacked is better than combat potency now tbh unless you have one of the 1000-2000g boe dagger offhand

I was thinking about Focused Attacks since my off hand is only 1.5 speed and my main hand is pretty fast for what it is (1.7). With full buffs I'm at like 37% crit. Sounds like it would be much more consistent than Combat Potency.

Generally now focused attacks is better if you have both world buffs. If songflower falls off late into the raid combat potency becomes marginally better with 1.4 or better attack speed.

If so, considering you almost have 100% uptime on envenom, where you get 75% chance to apply poisons, + 20% from instant and 10% from talent. an easy-ish to get fast dagger is the Hookfang Shanker in a BRD arena run (Ring of Law) it’s 1.4 speed. the best though is Julie’s Dagger which is a 1.3 with some self healing im pretty sure, but it’s rare af. 2000g on my servers AH :/
