That's a cool tip about zoom. I've never tried that. We have some classrooms with new vaddio USB cams, so I'll check this out. I've used zoom and NDI to create a virtual multicam system back in the lowdown, but this is a cool advanced idea.

It’s as simple as plugging them in to your computer through usb. :-) no switcher or fancy equipment is needed.

The best way is to use the scene system in obs and virtual camera into zoom. The use obs hot keys to change the cameras.

You can load multiple cameras to zoom. But you can only see one at a time. If that’s all you need then you wouldn’t need obs. I have a video on how to switch multiple cameras in zoom on here somewhere. If you need more than one camera shown at the same time then obs is the solution.

I have a two camera setup in OBS. I am trying to use OBS Virtual Camera but am having trouble with the audio when using OBS Virtual Camera -- I've got pre-show/post-show music playing (via an MP3) and a USB microphone for speaking, but when using OBS Virtual Camera the music isn't sent over Zoom. It works in NDI Tools... What do I need to do to get all audio sources working when using OBS Virtual Camera? I'm sticking with NDI Tools in the meantime...

Virtual camera doesn’t carry audio. That’s why I don’t use it.

I have my mac camera is the only one zoom will let be the main camera and my two webcams will only switch inside the little small box which of course is opposite of what I need. With this method it’s one at a time. If you use obs to broadcast to zoom you can do both at the same time.

I can't seem to find out any information about how to use two cameras as a meeting participant, not an instructor. Required for a class and online testing. They want to see your face and also your keyboard at the same time.... Thanks.

great idea but (two things) 1: the 'operator/broadcaster' of the Zoom session has to stop and fiddle with the mouse to 'switch' and 2) every time you switch, there's a black screen for a few seconds between cameras. NOT good for any viewer/recipient. Also; if you're the presenter, you're commonly using one or both hands.... piano player, chef, engineer, mechanic, seamstress.... I've yet to discover ONE video on YT which ACTUALLY professionally and completely addresses multi-camera switching for a Zoom broadcast.

The right way would be obs multiple camera setup sent to zoom. But of course zoom somehow downgrades that image when you do it. My solution. Use teams. :-)

It probably shows up as an iPad not a camera. You need software to make the iPad work as a webcam. That’s not what it’s meant to do.
