Things to do with the bread crust if you don't want to waste it. Toss with some olive oil and a splash of vinegar, salt and pepper, parmesan cheese and or pecorino cheese and bake till toasty and you have croutons. Add in a few slices of bread so it isn't all crust. Make a sweet bread pudding by making a simple custard with eggs, milk, cream and butter with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and bake. Freeze the crust and add it to your next batch of stuffing. Dry it and blend it with some dried herbs and cheese and make chicken parmesan. Feed it to the ducks or smear some peanut butter on it and use it for a treat for your dog. I just don't like to waste food. I compost anything I can and try to use everything I can within reason.

Looks really tasty! Not sure what the $ to £ is but that does look like expensive food but not by much compared to the UK. I do love seeing supermarket prices from around the world to see what we are being fleeced for. That clubcard price is a scam as most people have them but the club card price is the usual market price for the product. They just like to use your free marketing data as they will switch deals to clear off things that are not usually big sellers. For bread crumbs, i usually use the book ends, but if i am making a batch, i take out the bread from the plastic bag and put into a paper bag for a day or so. You don't really need extra salt as you have salt from the pork and salt from the bread. I like to add garlic granules, ground black pepper and paprika to the flour.
