Ive noticed that the judges prefer seeing things actually applied in the portfolios, but what about the planning sections? Usually the content in the planning/ scheduling section would be in theory since it's written before executing any of our activities.

While yes the planning is theory to begin with it is important to remember that those plans will likely change over time. The things that cause that change are good examples to use in showing how your planning/scheduling had to be reworked to work with the changes. Hope this helps - MW
