Thanks so much for putting these videos together. I'm a red belt training in the uk, and it's so useful to see the forms broken down along with clear spoken Korean terminology!

I’m a 20-year Kukkiwon Taekwondo practitioner who absolutely loves forms. My first school taught Ro-hai at high red belt and my current school teaches Bassai at the same rank. Always wanted to learn more Tang Soo Do forms and these videos are superb. It’s hard to find forms instructional videos where moves are explained AND executed cleanly. I’m having a big problem with finding ITF forms videos with the same quality as these. Thank you so much for you time and work making these videos!

That is awesome! Will be recording Ro Hai really soon, and I have the Bassai series here on the channel if you haven't seen them yet: kzbin.info/aero/PLNyv3meZ9xnqtmoSPIlBrlQHmDzArZBH2 Haven't run into many Kukkiwon practitioners, but they have known some Tang Soo Do forms which I find interesting. Thank you for watching!

@@Rockholdkarate several of the Korean masters who came to south Louisiana were first generation students of the original Kwans. Several were highly influenced by Karate so they learned many of the traditional katas and incorporated them into their Taekwondo curricula. My original school is descended from Jidokwan which had a heavy karate influence. My current school is descended from Chang Moo Kwan.

In our school, we leave out the groin strike, move directly from low block to hammer fist. Makes more sense to me to have it in, as the hammer fist is intended to the back of the head. What style of Tang Soo Do do you guys practice. All of your forms look really strong. Tang soo!

Thanks for watching! I've seen several different versions of this form over the years. Train in traditional Dang Soo Do, but I cross-train in other martial arts as well. Thank you for the compliment! Dang Soo!👊
