Now a days Disc Brakes are quite common and most of the motorcycles comes with Front Disc Brakes. Premium class motorcycles comes with Both Front and Rear Disc Brakes. Disc Brakes are very effective and efficient. They require little maintenance. But Periodic maintenance of Disc Brake system specially Brake caliper (Fitted on Front shock Absorber ) is very very important for the smooth functioning of Disc Brake system of our motorcycle. A small info i would like to add:The small grease sachet coming with the packet is a silicone based grease.Conventional grease is petroleum based and it can damage rubber parts at high operating temperature.Whereas the silicone based grease doesn't cause any such harm.That's the importance of small grease sachet provided. Hi SRG, Is this Caliper Minor Kit available for Hero/Honda? Can you help me with the part number. Or Can all these seals can be used in Hero/Honda caliper? I hope you have used only two rubber bushes. Do these (Bajaj) Piston seals also fit in Hero/Honda? Even my Brake bracket is jam , and the lower rubber bush is with cracks , Hence will be change and lubricate them.

I was out of luck getting those two rubber boots, Some other brand kits are available but the quality of the rubber isnt good.Did my brake caliper service today, Never Dip or clean rubber boot/parts with petrol, I soaked these rubber boots for 5mins and they have expanded to 3 times of its original size and wouldnt fit back.learning from mistakes....Never use petrol on rubber parts. if it all it expands , we can put them in boiling water for 10-15 mins and they would shrink close to normal size and dry them in direct sun light for all the petrol to evaporate. As you said, a C clamp is quite useful, a 80mm/3inches C clamp will be best fit. To press back the caliper pistons after pressing the leaver, wait for few mins , such that the pressure in the slave cylinder is decreased and brake fluid easly flows back to master cylinder. BTW got those rubber boots (pack of two) from Honda service center for 20/-.
