My only suggestion is that when nails are short, using tips, they can look very flat/wide on the ends. Consider using forms for short nails, or pinching during curing to get a tighter C-curve. They'll look sleeker!

I think sort nails are SO HARD TO DO! for me anyway. If they just want plain nails with polish, it's a little easier. But for me any kinda designs is so hard on short nails. Ombre, marble, anything like that. I'd just much rather do longer nails!

Heather Mullins try builder gel when doing short nails. Builder gel pretty much does all the work for you 👌 just gotta be very careful not to flood the cuticles bc then it’ll just get messy quick 😆💀

I hate when people don't do short nails. Like if you were really that good of a nail tech you should be able to do anything. I don't get short nails but like I said if you can do long nails you can do short nails. Just use a smaller brush so you can use less product.

Hey love, I’m not a professional but I’ve been doing nails for a few months now and I had your same issue. One thing that helped me was after laying my acrylic I go in with a file instead of an e-file to smooth the nail out. I can handle the shape much more with a file. Also always look at the nail from different angles (or just rub on them to see if you notice any lumps and bumps) and touch up the areas you need to. I hope this helped 💓

Welll, I ordered a bigger brush (#16) to see if THAT helps because #10 & #12 = LOTS of filling for ME! 🥺 I’ve used lot’s of brand monomer and acrylic and I like Mia Secret the best but my beads are not constant EVER! 👉🏽 must be the brush 🤷🏽‍♀️
