Every time I encounter the idea of tayamum, I remember a conversation between a sheikh and a Hamas fighter. He asked if he could perform tayamum because every time he opened his shoes, there were always blisters and blood.

Only do tayammum if water isnt available. Items on which tayammum is accepted include: Taahir (pure) earth Sand Stone Limestone Baked earthen pots Walls made of mud, stone, or brick Clay Any item with a thick covering of dust The first preference is fresh earth, but if none is available you can choose clay, a lump of sand, or even a stone if necessary. Items that are not acceptable to perform tayammum on include : Wood Metal Glass Food items Anything that burns to ash or melts

Salam, if the turbah is large enough to strike both hands then you can perform tayammum with it. You do not wipe the feet in tayammum

Can i do tayammum on house wall. Ie.walls which are found in our houses.

Salam, If the outer surface of the wall is something on which it is alright to do tayammum, there is no objection to that. It is correct to make tayammum on pebbles, sand, clod, dried clay or anything which is considered as earth, such as gypsum or limestone is correct.

There is a difference of opinion between the schools of thought. The ب in the word فَامْسَحُوا بِوُجُوهِكُمْ connotes the meaning of "part" when it is prefixed to an object according to the Imami school of thought.
