Beautiful as always Elizabeth. I love your break down and I learned to use the elbow grip on the bottom but never felt comfortable. I can't wait to try using the bicep. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you and so happy you enjoyed it. I honestly alternate between using the bicep and the elbow depending on the combo I'm doing.

Hi! Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am at the point where I can get into position entirely, but as soon as I let go to put my arms back at the end once my outside leg is in place, I just slide down the pole to the ground. I tried putting grip on my side/back to see if it helped but it didn't do anything lol. I feel like there is an engagement that I'm missing.

Hard to say for sure without seeing what you're doing but the most common thing is that we forget to really engage that top leg and push the heel or knee (whichever contact point you're using) into the pole. Then in opposition to that is the upper back engagement. Really think of lifting your chest as if you're trying to stick your boobs out more and that will increase the friction zone in the upper back area and smoosh the pole between that area and that top leg. If you have not done so already, I’d love to have you join my EBFit private Facebook group and share your videos there for celebration, feedback and pointers. I did it both sides......but now my armpits/biceps are bruised and stinging. Most painful spot to get a pole bruise I think lol.

You are not alone on that! It's that delicate skin that gets us the most!
