i've never thought about skating or anything like that. i hardly ever get out of my room enough to warrant skating or something but youre videos are inspiring in a sorta way. i don't know when i'll be able to, but im saving your vids for the day i get to afford some. seems like a good enough excuse to get out of the house, yeah

oh shucks. the day you step out there…chef kiss. A momentous day it will be.✨ but this is good for now too.❤️ I’ll shall think of you on my days where I’m having a tough time and I know that creating or skating will make me feel better but the blues seem a little extra tough that day. 🫶🏾❤️

I looked to see if you have a tutorial on crossing over but didn't see it.. Either way, I'm about to binge your uploads now. I bought my kids skates for xmas last year, but I can't skate very well myself - now I'm ready to get my own and get out there! Thank you

the way I learned it from my teacher (who has been skating for 30 years) is that you indicate (what you're calling the pump) with the leg on the side you're heading to. meaning, if I'm gonna move to the right, I am indicating with my right foot. and I think it's important to note that the downtown should be a move on diagonals, not in a straight line. if you indicate right, you will first be moving diagonally backwards to the right by crossing over, then moving diagonally forwards to the right by crossing over, then stopping. indicate left, backwards left diagonally, forwards left diagonally, stop. at least that's how we learn it here, but idk if that's a US/european difference thing but thought I would share!
