The last time we offered a tutorial on the EB was many years ago so it seemed high time to put together a refresher.
The EB, named for the initials of its alleged creator, is also known as the front to back cross. There are many variations of the EB but in this video, Shana Brady just shows you the basic version which involves a front to back cross. The EB is useful for improving shoulder mobility and flexibility and coordination. If you have a shoulder injury or shoulder tightness, it may not be the step for you.
The criss cross (aka crossover) and the side swing are useful precursors to the EB. To perform the EB you'll be taking one arm across your body in front. The hand of that arm will end up at waist height close to the opposite hip. The hand of the other arm will reach behind your back and will also end up at waist height.
If you attempt the EB, let us know how you do.
