The most detailed tutorial of this stitch I've seen. I was really struggling with it until now! The advice of holding the 1st stitch is so helpful. Thank you.

Hi Tracy. I've been using the foundation stitch chains for years now. Once I learned it, I much prefer that to a chain if at all poss8ble.

Oh thank you!!! I’ve done this before, and like you I hold onto the chain stitch, where I’ve gone wrong is not going through the two loops.
@crochetrocks5 жыл бұрын
thank you Pat, i did that too in the early days and did not like the baggy stitches but i sussed it out and since then i love doing it

Thanks again. I’ve a couple of cowls to do and will definitely use the foundation row. Bye 💁

Never could manage this stitch very well. It always looked sloppy. Doing a swatch together with you it came out quite nice. I think my problem was not going through the 2 loops.
