I've tried several times over 50 years to learn how to crochet, and your videos are thus far the BEST tutorial videos ever!!! Thank you for sharing your skills with us.

I've been crocheting for 17 years, but as I learned kinda before KZbin and with no guide I have never known what the stitches are called, nor can I read a pattern. I finally got fed up with getting overwhelmed everytime someone wanted me to make something from a pattern and decided to look for anyone who could explain all the deets about crochet. I went through many many many people before I found your channel, and I LOVE your channel. I am finally putting names to stitches!! I finally know that I hate the single stitch and I mostly use a half double stitch... Thank you so much for being so clear and to the point with your lessons. I love that you don't talk about things that we don't need to know yet (which I've run into so much and it is incredibly overwhelming), and I love that each stitch gets a new project. I have been making reference straps to help me remember the names to the stitches. Again, thank you! You are the best crochet teacher on KZbin! You deserve the title Crochet Guru!

I have been trying to learn this stitch for a month! I literally skip patterns that use tthe tr stitch. I could never figure out how everyone got the hook to glide effortlessly through the first two stitches! Because of you I figured out I was wrapping my yarn around the hook incorrectly, now and can finally make a tr stitch. Thank you thank you!

I don't know if you actually meant it but you using significantly different colors for these tutorials really helped me 🤍

Thank you for the video. It was very helpful. I wanted a nice big stitch since I was using a very thick homemade fabric yarn. This was perfect and you starting from the chain was so helpful. I had forgotten that you start the stitch in the the 5th chain.

I'm in desperate need of help here. No matter what I do, my first row is the right number of inches across, but my second row suddenly gains a full inch, leaving my project too big, despite it being the correct number of stitches. HELP! I am running a crochet along, if I can't figure out why my size is wrong the entire thing is going to fall apart. :(

I find that my biggest issue is that the loop going between my 2 tc is so large. I don’t understand if its the angle i hold my hook, putting tension at the wrong spot. Its so frustrating and I don’t have any issues with dc, just tc. 😢

why some tutorials say first yarn over through one loop and another say first yarn over through two loops? I'm confusing😵💫
