As you might have noticed at the very end of the video, this can be performed as child Link as well. It can also be performed with bomb flowers. The location I used it as child Link at the end was in Dodongo's Cavern to reach a switch, effectively skipping half of the dungeon. My personal opinion the best place to use this glitch is the dodongo cavern as child link to skip half the dungeon via the ledge with the floor switch on the right side of the dungeon entrance.

I love that the Zelda franchise has had bomb glitches throughout its history, I only know botw glitches but seeing this would be comparable to if I was born 20 years after botw released and watched an old glitch tutorial video for an old game I never played.

You can also skip the maze by using the scarecrows song and the hookshot

You can also drop the bomb while holding whatever the target button is, press B, spam A then hold shield before he can actually pick it up. That's how I always do it.

Its actually easier drop a bomp z target with your shield out and try to pick it up it will knock you back an inch and it will store a jump

Another explanation would be "drop bomb, hold Z and A at the same time, wait until bomb explodes, do a backflip.

Easier setup for this is to drop a bomb (not shield drop), pull out sword, wait a few frames and then spam A

I’ve tried that, but it’s much easier in my opinion to do the setup shown. It’s incredibly consistent, unless you are on ice, then don’t do that

theres a easier method: place a bomb down take your sword out hold Z+R to target and hold shield, go to the bomb and press A to try to pick it up, what link does picking up the bomb, instead he is putting his sword away and stays in front of the bomb, once you get pushed back a bit by the explosion you can release Z+R and you charged a ground jump.

You don't have to use a bomb to skip sacred forest meadow. You can actually just do a pressure jump with a good setup.

Yeah that's a pretty convenient way to do it too, but if you're doing randomizer you might not have hookshot o_o But rando does have a nice quality of life option where it gives you scarecrow's song for free so if you have hookshot it's definitely a nice option

It's a randomizer thing, I use a randomizer seed with all items to record my glitch tutorials. The rando devs added a third wallet called the Tycoon's Wallet. I assume it's so you have a better chance at finding at least one wallet in the item pool in case you need to buy something.

Um ill be honest... you have the song to tp but if not then you can hook the dancin scarecrow...

If you're doing randomizer you could end up not having the song to tp, or you could end up not finding the Ocarina for a while if you shuffle the Ocarinas into the item pool, I know that I have it, that's just because I use a file with 100% items to record my glitch tutorial stuff :D

Unfortunately not. Instead of Link freezing in place very oddly, he just picks the bomb up on 3DS when you try to do this glitch. I guess it's one of the few things Grezzo patched out when they made the 3DS version :(
