can u please say the procedure for a ball dropped on a slab subsequently many times and i need to find the impact energy at a specific drop!?

When i go to solve i gett Erro "you need a valid path to proceed with the solution." and I have tried to ad a path with my limited knowledge without any luck

if we look at the results, the stress bar shows the maximum stress as 1.8936e8 Pa. Why is that so high? This means that the chassis will totally rupture?

If the failure stress/strain or any failure model is applied in the material data along with the element erosion then only we can see the failure of material in the simulation. Here in this tutorial the failure parameters are not defined as it intended to give a basic idea of the simulation and is for initial learning purpose only.

Can we give initial temperature to our body under going impact...?
@ansyssimplified97583 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can give a temperature to body undergoing impact but you also have to define the relation between the temperature and the material property to see the required change.

I just wanna ask what software is IGS came from? solidworks? autocad?
@ansyssimplified97586 жыл бұрын
LS Gaming. Igs format is a portable format which is converted to from any of the mentioned software format. You cannot edit it in the cad software.

How to put izod impact value in engineering material?
@ansyssimplified97583 жыл бұрын
Generally a failure is criteria has to be defined for such type of simulation. In case of steels, J-C damage parameters are used for this purpose.

@@ansyssimplified9758 J-C?.. Can you please explain it throughly..i am facing this issue still
@ansyssimplified97583 жыл бұрын
The Johnson-Cook (J-C) damage initiation criterion is a special case of the ductile damage criterion model for predicting the onset of damage due to nucleation, growth, and coalescence of voids in ductile metals.
