I managed to get the basic movements down after about two hours and even was able to speed up a little. But this is the first move I've learned and sometimes my legs would spazz out and do something I didn't mean to. This was the most exercise I think I've ever done. 😅 Thanks for having a good walk through of the move.

I've been doing this move wrong my whole life... lol I never did the slide back with the kick, more of a little "hop". Gunna have to re teach that to my students xD But I'mma still do it the way I always have been...it's in my body too much now lol

it's a fairly simple move but once u get good with it and speed it up it looks pretty jazzy. extra points if you can do a traveling kick n step while spinning a gold chain around your neck,saw pdiddy do that at a show years ago.

How to do this without the extra back step? Is there a video for that? It’s similar to this (years ago, like decades) where instead of stepping back you kicked forward just a bit. A sort of step kick forward, in place. Is there a video for that? It looks super easy but I could never get it.

MihranTV thank you for replying! No there is no side step in what I’m looking for. I think there are a few different dance steps that are close and I’m realizing it’s just a matter of having fun taking care to not break an ankle! Thank you again for replaying.
