Look for DCF on KZbin , and watch Ashwath damodran method on valuation on KZbin (It's free but very long) Buy darkside of valuation (for grading) , and the little book of valution too. The total cost would come down to less than 1000 rather than paying 5000 just for PB and PE. PE valution is free on Moneybee (KZbin channel full playlist) Best of luck.

One question here Rachana : Regarding the 'Smart Investors' category, you said these could be analogous to rodents who fall but can limit the damage. In the stock market world, once the stock falls off the cliff, it results in lower circuits on a continuous basis for many days. So even if that smart investor has the 'life-jacket' of knowledge, how will he be able to sell the stocks/limit the damage?

I tell you what I do I've been there many times. I add more shares at lower price. Then my average purchasing price becomes low, when I get my profit I sell it. I use RSI indicator to sell. You need to learn technical analysis. This value investing doesn't work when most of the new players are not aware, sentiments work in share market not value. There are operators also. Stock will be making consistent profit but stock price will not increase. It's not that easy.
