Weird. I thought coconut oil was great for your hair? Why do you not like it?

It’s not that it is completely bad for your hair… It’s just that most people use way too much and use it too often to where it can clog the pores on your scalp and a clog the follicles which cause build up! Hair oil’s are designed to be easily absorbed by the hair follicle so that it ensures that your hair is getting hydrated instead of just coated! ❤️

Coconut oil is miracle hair oil haha. But I heard you shouldn't put it on the scalp because supposedly it clogs the follicles. However I also read that it doesn't have a very high comedogenic index or whatever it's called, that is it doesn't clog pores. I know pores aren't the same as follicles but still. I use olive oil and castor oil on the roots and coconut oil on the length. Coconut oil is the only oil that penetrates the hair shaft all the way to the core so it's very hydrating and hydrates your hair on the inside.

Agnieszka Lockwood try when you let the curl go scrunch it back up and clip it with a Bobby pin or a clip (like they do with curlers) wait a few minutes and let it go it allows your hair to cool and hold the curl. I have to do this my hair is stick straight like air dries straight I don’t even have to use a straightener 😐 but that trick at at least then I can have curls stay for one day

Just damp towel dried hair is fine! Unless your hair is really thin then you can apply it wet!

Keratin when left in too long can overstimulate the hair and actually do the opposite of what it should do and cause breakage! ... so sleeping in it for a few hours would not be a good idea :)
